This quote is enough to let me know that NOBODY has an excuse for NOT being great. IT is absolutely attainable no matter who you are. believe all of us have a greatness trait but have not unleashed it yet.
I know all about excuses; I used not having a laptop as a reason for not finishing a book when I could have purchased one twenty times before, or gone to a library. The truth of the matter is there is no excuse for not being committed to tapping into our greatness or working towards our goals and dreams. I no longer want to sit back and stand in awe of others who are committed, and have woke up and are grinding hard to be great. I don’t want to always be the cheerleader and supporter. I want to see what it feels like on the other side of the fence and be celebrated for my dedication and hard work. I know firsthand what it is to contribute to the dreams of others, put in the hard work and be on the sidelines but that achievement is not yours. I know what it feels like to encourage, inspire and speak into the lives of others, but I’ve not had the experience myself.That should be our one and only desire before anything material, before any relationship or any of those other things that distract us. I believe distractions or purposefully put in our lives to get us off track, but we need to develop enough discipline to cause the distractions in our lives to come into alignment with where we are going!!! If it isn’t going in the same direction or at least in support of the direction you are going, you need to let it go! We are too worried about the wrong things in life. Please join me in putting the best foot forward to walk, run or sprint towards GREATNESS! That should be what we strive for each and everyday. Our creator was a creator, he put creation inside of us in order to create, but we will not move towards LET THERE BE! Instead we do the opposite and say THERE can’t be…. well there already is and it’s waiting on you so stop waiting and go get it. I am headed towards greatness with no plans to stop along the way; I’ve made too many stops along the way, yielded without moving forwarded or came to a complete stop.
When you decide to go full speed ahead, you may take off and leave some folk, but do you want those in your life who aren’t in alignment with where you are going or aren’t on the same level as you anyway? And besides, if you have wasted time you don’t have time to wait any longer; it’s time to move and everybody else will have to catch up. Time out for foolishness and folly and time for reality to set in. The truth of who we are is not yet realized and it’s our own faults because we do not realize who we are- Wake up

Even though we all have different circumstances, William Shakespeare’s quote rings true! We can ALL achieve greatness! The key is to create your goal, stay focused on your goal through completion – and most of all, put in the WORK! I have also sat and looked at other people and been happy for their achievements, but slacked on my own. I only recently have swiped the dust off of my talents and gifts – but even with a little effort, I see how much potential lies ahead and I feel the momentum! Every time I take even a 1/2 step, I move forward much more than that! To those sitting on their dreams and gifts, know that they are given to you for a reason…not to collect dust. When you don’t use what you are given, you are showing you do not appreciate what you have, cheating yourself, and also may be cheating others by dimming your own light. Be GREAT!
